Ganjastep
Riddim Riddim is a sub-genre of the Dubstep style that focuses on the more repetitive and bouncy side of the Dubstep style. Always featuring minimal synth layering in 2/4 or 4/4 drum set-up with a Kick beginning each measure and a snare half-way between them, In 2/4 patterns, and a Kick on measure 1 and 3 and a snare on measure 2 and 4, in 4/4 patterns. The drums set-up is often simpler then that of the typical Dubstep style but it's BPM range adheres to that of the Dubstep style, 135 - 150, although Riddim has a tendency to live in the 140s. Some examples of Riddim are; 1. Getter - Lights Out 2. Jakes - Birthday Blaze 3. The Widdler - Acheri 4. Hamok - Mr Quid (Krimma Remix) If you find something that belongs in this section, or a thread that does not belong in this section, please click on the "Report Post" button located at the top of every post Edited August 17, 2022 by Wolf 3 1 1 1 1 5 Link to comment
