How to Ensure of Proper Quality

Music Files are often tampered with, for various reasons, and one of the most common ways is Up-coding the music files so that they appear higher quality than they actually are. Up-coding is the process of encoding a music file into a Lossy file type then transcoding it to another Lossy or Lossless file type.

Most Up-codings are not audibly noticeable to most people so using a Spectrum Analyzer like SPECTRO or SPEK is recommended.

NOTE: You must include a screenshot of the Spectrum Analyzer if you are reporting a thread because the poster did not Ensure Proper Quality

When Posting a track that has been leaked you must; 

1. Ensure it is of proper quality

2. Provide the URL Link to the Original Leak (if applicable)

3. A screenshot of the Spectrum Analysis

4. Ensure the tunes are not watermarked

Each thread should only have one Song in each of them.

 

Exception #1 : Any Album section

Here on CllV we use a specific set-up for naming our threads in the Music Subsections:

 

Artist - Title (Modifier) [Identifier]

 

The Layout of the Thread

After you name you thread you need to create the content for the thread. You may add ANY of the following information to your post to go along with the download link

 

Length of the Song

Size of the File

Album Name the Song Appeared On

Album Artwork the Song Appeared On

File Type of the Song

Your Opinion

Each download posted should be one of the accepted file formats at the accepted quality level.

 

Accepted File Formats

1) MP3 (Accepted Quality Level: ≥320 kbps / Sample Rate: ≥44.1 khz)

2) Wav (Accepted Quality Level: Lossless)

3) AIFF (Accepted Quality Level: Lossless)

4) FLAC (Accepted Quality Level: Compressed Lossless)

5) M4A (Accepted Quality Level: ≥256 kbps or higher / Sample Rate: ≥44.1 khz)

6) Vinyl (Accepted Quality Level: Rip @ ≥320 kbps / Sample Rate: ≥44.1 khz)

7) OGG (Only Accepted in "Produce" Section)

NOT Accepted File Formats

1) Any file format that is not listed in the Accepted File Formats

2) Any file Transcoded to any of the accepted file formats
