I posted it on another forum, that happens to start with the letter f. This mp3 is not a transcode of any kind, not from m4a, or any other codec. It's the original untouched file that I got from a completely legitimate source. If any admins have further questions they can feel free to pm me. Anyone else needs to pipe down. Link to comment

I have to say i do not rly hear the differences between m4a transcodes and mp3 transcodes... but why, why, why, would you go for lesser quality, when theoraticaly (if that even is a word) you can get "full quality" mp3's... And what i started this with wasn't even about transcodes or not.. just plain curtisy to inform the people who are downloading this that the file is a leak or not. This is handy just for music OCD (haha), but more importantly, when you play a set in a club, or making a mixtape. It sounds plain rude when you use leaks PS. M4a's still suck big time, but i guess everyone knows my opinion about m4a's by now haha PSS. i'm posting this with the utmost respect to the music uploaders, I really do appreciate all the music i can get from here Edited August 7, 2014 by stijn1191 1 Link to comment
Moderator Mich Posted August 7, 2014 Moderator Share Posted August 7, 2014 i dont even get why we have to discuss stuff like that on a site from audiophiles for audiophiles.the quality of the files is basically the ONE AND ONLY priority on here. if i wouldnt care for quality i would still be downloading bad ripped releases i found via google or rip it straight from youtube. btw: nice one becs, the one with the chip is completely legit. i for myself though dont mind having the releases as an transcoded .mp3 as i would do the exact same thing with any .m4a i download from this site as i dont like apple and (thankfully) cant use those files on any other device like smartphone, ps3 (i guess) or car stereo. i dont need this .m4a-crap, apple didnt need to come up with any new format just because. i don't know what phone you have but mine plays m4a's perfectly Link to comment

Because there is no reason AT ALL not to go for "full quality" + this doesn't have to do with elitism .. this is about audio quality PS It might be you can hear he difference on speakers in a club. This thread has gone offtopic enough and once again most of you guys have proven yourselves to be completely uninterested in quality - the entire reason this forum was made.
