PS. Don't get me wrong, you have a awesome music taste and I am very gratefull for your posts, lately i just get a bit irritated when downloading transcodes/leaks (leaks are often transcodes/rips). Nothing too personal rly, just a bit of frustration on my end

it really seems like you're the one of the only ones that cares about this, as you do this in any thread thats a leak. just grab the tune if you like it, buy it if you decide its worth it when it comes out and move along. it's not gonna become a rule, so just accept it when it happens

I care as well. If I wanna include a tune in a set I damn sure want to know whether it's a transcode/leak or not.

I made a long post about this and it is in moderation, probably because I put a picture. Anyway I don't post these things to the internet so cheap asses can further their DJing careers without paying for tunes, I post them so people can get more educated about the music and make more informed purchasing choices, as in not paying for crap like The Prototypes when you can find much better things out there.

Another point I made: If you can't tell the difference between a transcoded file and a non transcoded file yourself you should shut up about it. It's not hard to see that this file is legitimate, as I said earlier it's the final mastered version, you're not going to get anything different unless you buy the wave file when it's released if lossless is your thing.

Now I'm going to make one final point: If you want to be ungrateful about people giving you free music perhaps you'd be more happy with a kick to the forehead. There's nothing wrong with this file, well, besides the lack of musical integrity, but I can't help you with that, sorry.

As for the rest of your post in this thread, I won't bother responding with a rant. A lot of you seem keen on listening to rips and trannys. Whatever, do it. I'm not downloading from clubland anymore for this reason and I'm not the only one

And to me both of you guys are the extremes of both sides! I personally live and die by the Spek, if it looks like a full quality file then it's good in my book!

the thing is, it's mp3 anyways, if you really want the best quality, you'd go for lossless right? So for me, the difference betwen m4a and converted mp3 really really isn't much at all. it's like the smallest possible. if you're gonna nag about quality, go get the lossless, because arguing about quality of mp3/m4a/converted mp3 is just being a pain in the ass because it's not a listenable difference. it's in your head; it's OCD.

I haven't been enforcing 320 trannys because I believe there's a big difference, I've been doing it because those are our rules.

Besides that, there is absolutely no point in posting a converted 320.. it's basically like picking up a chip from the ground and eating it versus finding one that has been untouched. You know it's dirty even if you can't taste the difference
