Ganjastep
imo dubstep's kick snare pattern simplistic, repetitive pattern triplet percussion i'd say riddim, kinda dustepy too but I would def say leans more toward riddim Link to comment
Ganjastep
I disagree 100% this fits in grime, because it is grime. legit. most i know about grime is that it contains rapping throughout it, since this one did not i figured it wasn't it. what makes this grime? Link to comment
dubshannon
if you feel it's riddim then alright, it is your opinion but I feel this is grime. I can't break it down like you did to analyze it but I've listened to enough grime to say confidently that this belongs in the grime section. Link to comment
dubshannon
grime doesn't have many boundaries, it's a very broad genre. it can end up sounding like a lot of different styles all in one more or less. I guess for me what made me think grime was just the overall vibe of the song. again you are the moderator stick it wherever you feel best. I think it'll be appreciated more in this section though. samgenius
i honestly have never listened to grime or at least not enough to know defining features of it, but it was tagged as grime so i went fuck it and put it here Link to comment

dubshannon
grime's been around for like 11 years, much more recent. I see your point though. Link to comment
