Eh not quite, I have plenty of deep house around 116, the new brand of uk house is most commonly around 123, electro/progressive is obviously 128 normally so there's definately variation in tempo. Garage can go into that tempo range as well, especially older tracks like http://www.edmc.nu/uk-garage/368880-double-99-rip-groove.html which is like 126? 140 garage would be preeeety rare, looking at my collection, 135 seems to be the fastest lot. Future garage seems to be 130-140 though

There's a big garage revival in the uk so a lot of uk house carries some garage influence, definitely easy to mix up

Well alright i guess i was thinking more of Speed Garage/4x4Bassline when I put 140, and yes quite a lot of Garage is slightly lower tempo so I'll stand corrected there, but House & Garage are still easy to tell apart. (approve)
