Just wondering, why does House always get posted in this section? This is supposed to be Garage. Every time I come back to this section there's always 4x4 tracks around 125/130bpm, which to me is definitely House. I'm not massively clued up on different House styles but I would class this tune as Deep House or something.

Thanks for sharing though X.

Its easy to get Garage and Deep House mixed up lol

Only if you never listen to either, House is easy to tell apart from any genre due to it's distinctive tempo (128bpm) and style, even if some styles do vary and garage is more commonly around 140bpm (give or take) and again obviously various sub-styles.

When I search through the Future Garage/Bass section i find more than 50% that should be in other sections (such as House, Purple, Deep Dubstep etc.), a few that I don't know exactly what to class as so I just think it's the Future Bass side of it (Which isn't actually like Future Garage), and then the rest (very little) is the Future Garage side of it, and I'm also finding Future Garage tracks outside of this section.

I mean unless I'm getting Future Garage completely wrong, (which would be really rare, surprising and confusing, as I know my genres)... but I class FG as stuff like 'Burial - Archangel', 'Detz - July', 'Enigma Dubz - Keep It On The Low', 'Perverse - Semblance', 'Kahn - Sepia' etc.... Like Deep, Dark, Minimal, Garage.

Edit: only just realized this thread was moved to Deep House, my comment was aimed more at Future Garage/Bass heads so if that doesn't include you then feel free to ignore. ;)

Eh not quite, I have plenty of deep house around 116, the new brand of uk house is most commonly around 123, electro/progressive is obviously 128 normally so there's definately variation in tempo. Garage can go into that tempo range as well, especially older tracks like http://www.edmc.nu/uk-garage/368880-double-99-rip-groove.html which is like 126? 140 garage would be preeeety rare, looking at my collection, 135 seems to be the fastest lot. Future garage seems to be 130-140 though

There's a big garage revival in the uk so a lot of uk house carries some garage influence, definitely easy to mix up
