@ Wolf the bass definitely makes it funky.  So, yeah Funky House is a great landing place.  Thank you. @ djphanatik thank you as well.

Filter House isn't made up tho.  I mean everything is originally made up by producers and what not, right?  Many of my DJ friends through the years have used the term.  Maybe it's referred more as a description if it's not an official genre.?.?  If I was a musician I could explain exactly what I mean but the filter thing they would be referring to is almost throughout the whole song.

Filter House

"Filter house originated in the mid ’90s in France, with labels such as Roulé and the lesser-known (but equally great) Crydamoure."

"Filter house is closely related to French house, and sometimes these terms are even used interchangeably. In ways, the genre can be seen as an evolution of the early Chicago house sound that was based on sampled loops from disco, boogie, and funk records."

"Take a sample from a disco record, whack a big fat kick under it, prat about with the EQs et voila: filter house."

"Stardust's seminal "Music Sounds Better with You" was the breakthrough in the scene needed and filter house, in it's many variations, became a byword for happy, sunshine-filled, long, lazy days, and balmy evenings spent flitting between cocktails and coke. It's music that's undemanding and pleasure-focused, music that always wants the listener to come first."
