King of Trance? You mean king of Trouse? I'm have been a huge fan of Armin van Buuren over the years all the way to the beggining of ASOT .. But this album just proves what's wrong with EDM today .. They all going mainstream and shit .. It's like there's only Aly & Fila and it's label that still producing pure trance today ..

Cant say i agree with that, ok its certainly not his best album but its still not that bad, if you want a truly mainstream album then Tiesto's last offering "Kaleidoscope" before he went to making house music was the worst ever. Personally i think "Intense" is reasonably good but could be better, but certainly not shit!

Don't even begin on Tiesto .. One of the best producers of the old great pure trance making a switch in genre .. Such a waste .. And back to 'Intense' .. If you think this is any good then you have been hit by this mainstream pop/house Trance and have been fooled to like it .. You just can't even compare this to the superb trance that all produced just a couple of years ago .. I can't even listen to ASOT any more when he only plays more trouse and trouse each week .. Anyway, maybe i was to quickj to judge .. Will take another listen and see .. Don't think that will change my mind tho ..

I am a huge Armin fan. And this is not Trance. It's not even a good album, period, no matter what sound style you're into.

Oh well we are all entitled to our opinion :) would be a boring world if we all liked the same stuff ;)

Forgot I posted in this thread and didn't check for replies, but yeah I'm with you Grieevs. It's sad to see the evolution of trance go to what it is today (Armin, Sander, Tiesto, Dash). I can't stand some of the songs on here, like This is What it Feels Like, quite possibly the cheesiest song on the album. I've always been a huge fan of uplifting female vocal trance so his tracks with Aruna, Emma Hewitt, and Fiora I love. I'm glad you mentioned Aly & Fila because their album Quiet Storm just came out today and that's why I checked this forum and saw all these comments. Hopefully someone uploads it :/
