Hey, not being mean but WHAT part of this is BREAKBEAT? It is a pure and simple 4x4 from the get go. Then the breakdown is DUBSTEP and then the outro is 4x4 again. Wouldn't this be better called FIDGET? or even DUBSTEP? this IS NOT breakbeat!

Your correct my friend =) It's a 4/4 beat but as far as my original tracks i post there all Dubstep or Breaks. Considered putting this in the "Fidget" section but decided to put it here. I honestly wouldn't want my tracks under fidget.

But how many tracks are out there with a kick snare 4/4 beat that are well known breakbeat tracks? Far To Loud, Utku, Access denied etc.

lol, not being picky but i do label things. fidget is a genre that mixes the elements of other genres, whether it be house, electro, breaks, dubstep, drum and bass, garage, 2-step, hip-hop, trance, progressive, etc.

Since u can't seem to enjoy the music and debate and poke how there's a 4/4 in the breakbeat section and keep coming back to comment... Bro i've opened for / played with names such as Kool Herc, Africa Bambaata, Egyptian Lover and have been a b-boy since 93 with smurfrock, c-force, zulunation.... Got vinyl that was the foundation to what we all now call "Breaks, Fidget....

And i don't know where you obtain your "opinions" about each sub genre... I do know is i can say that the 100% actual physical aspect of music is the dimension of sound... Other then that it's all based on perception & idea.

My perception is kick, Snare, Fills = Elements of a breakbeat so this is where the "free" song landed along with 10 other tracks i have released but can be downloaded here.

Point is i love and embrace music and felt like sharing instead of sharing a link of where to by my music. Hope you liked the track or if you didn't i hope you found something worth while.

LOL, I have been doing this for a long time too man, I have opened for tons of people, too many to name and I don't care to because name dropping isn't a passion of mine. :). I too have vinyl that is the foundation of what is DANCE music today, dating back to the late 70's early 80's....all the way up to a few weeks ago ;). Im glad u are making your own tracks and such man, but if you are as "oldskool" as you say you are then you understand why I am saying what I am saying. I was making an observation and come constructive opinion, you took offense to that and here we are. Sorry you were offended by me stating that the music was indeed a 4x4 beat with a dubstep breakdown, however, true is true and you can's argue with it. The elements of Breakbeat lie in that it is a non straight 4x4 beat with rhythms in the syncopation or poly rhythms. Syncopation is the breaking of the beat. This song only has syncopation in one breakdown, ergo, it is not a break beat overall. In the army we say we were 51% sure the enemy was going to fire before we can "shoot". I am over 51% sure that this song is not break beat.

All good. My first post started off as "your correct" I agree with you. I don't care if you said my music sucks and i have 13 toes. This isn't my first message board and i never got offended.... I'm 100% this song is not a breakbeat. lol. Real talk man but if i was to play it i would with breaks so that's why i posted in here.
