Sliding Synth

Can I have some help please in reproducing this sound? It's a sliding synth in the background kind of like a guitar slide or something, anyway it sounds really awesome. Anyone know how one would go about making a similar sound? The sample is from Avicii - The Days;

isn't this just a slow note glide?

And is this actually a synth?

I don't know, I'm supposed to be the one with the questions (hmm) hahaha jk. It's obviously a note glide but I want to know how to get the sound of the synth, like is it a guitar or something or what? Sounds kind of like a hawaiian guitar. I want to replicate the sound electronically with FL Studio and any synthesizer or Guitar Rig Pro as a plugin (unless anyone knows a more real sounding guitar plugin, or any plugin that can sound as close to that as possible)
