Setlist help?

I'm going to be playing my first live show in a couple weeks and I wondered if anyone had any tips? I'm moving from the UK to Brazil, and while I generally tend to play the heavier DNB in my recorded mixes, from the looks of the place I'll be staying, I should probably at least start with a liquid set - the more minimal/ambient stuff I think would be better, although any outside the box ideas would be appreciated. I'm nervous as fuck also.

Maybe I should bite the bullet and get a shit-ton of chillout house...

What kind of party/venue are u playing? What genres do the other DJ's on the line-up play (if there are any)? What do you mean by live show, DJ'ing on pioneers for an audience or playing and mashing up your own stuffs through Ableton?

Try to play out songs that are a variety of the genre u want to play. Think about liquid dnb mixed with some normal dnb or go a little bit deeper, try to get that from your audience. Maybe try to get 2-3 playlists of track with genres that can be used during your gig so you can change during your arrival at the venue. For example, if they dig deep house or chill-out over liquid dnb or otherwise, you can always change genre's/sets. If u need any tips just message me if you like!

I always tend to combine both things during these gigs and play some chill out house, mix up with some bonobo, little step to liquid dnb and going back to deep or tech house. Depends on the audience, it's all about the audience!

(If you have tracks yourself and the reason you got booked is that because of that, stick with that style.)
