Fidget is hard to define, could fit there i guess. But for me it's more "old-school" Electro. But yeah, who cares about my genre opinion after all these comments haha

@Wolf If you want real fidget, go check out some Crookers. I would say it sort of fits between old-school electro and some of the jackin house of nowadays. AC slater makes lots of tunes who would fall in fidget imo..

For a sample of Crookers stuff check out this (badly mixed) megamix

Bang on mate fidget was quite a short lived genre.. stemming from garage and house scene i believe. Likes of crookers, fidget fairies, ac slater and stupid fresh who where my favourite of that style but lots of cool artists came through that movement all kind of moving to house styles now.. and also not really bovered where this goes as long as all are happy i reported it again as its far away from what i know as fidget. For me it was one of those tunes that has influences of all styles the percussion changes pretty much every drop on that remix. Used to have this rant alot when electro breaks hit the scene in early naughties. That alot of the tunes in that genre had a four to.floor. basically like jim was saying. Likes of napt, far too loud, rogue element all had a way of making breaks beats that had a solid 4to floor with the snares that you would normally associate with breaks. Thats why i thought electro breaks. But you almost cant list music via genre these days as most music doesnt conform to those boundaries that genralizes music. And thats good as anyone who loves music knows our inspiration comes from many sources and trying to make something original normally takes braking down those boundaries. Which i love :) like rock n roll Blending blues with rock music. Most genres are a whirlpool of genres nowadays. Long gone are the days of generic labelling of.music. unless you label everything  edm.. and i fooking hate that term.. If people dont want tgis in breaks thats fine but think electro would be the only.other logical place. I digress though.. its one tune i have spent way to.much energy on.. lol Its definitly hyped the max out of this beat for this convo though .. lol as much as its a ok beat its almost top in my views posts... lol i did Not expect that.

BUT Lighter not Tier 1 bitches I love Cornwall

@stijn1191 hmm don't know what happened, thought I replied like 10 days ago lol.

Yeah I remember listening to Crookers Day N Nite back in 2008 at one of my first hall parties, fell in love with it. haha

@Legohead I understand what fidget sounds like I think i labeled this fidget way back on the very first report that came through, via a quick listen...

I believe this topic has been moved like 3-4 times now. someone else moved it back into fidget as far as i know. I actually think it might fit better into electro as well

Kind of funny how discussion and debate can bring more people to be drawn towards a topic than say one with nothing lol
