i dont think you understand. FLAC is a lossless package, much like a zip or rar are packages with the full file inside. The wav is contained inside, flac just wraps it up a bit smaller.

you probably should just stick to physical media

Music converter do flac and is free if on apple...

I use Serato and half of my library is in FLAC and i've never had a track not play. WAV on the otherhand, it constantly shows as corrupted.

There is one brand hates FLAC for sure, it's called Pioneer

that is so bizarre. ive never had wav problems but ive been stumped with flac. for the longest time scratch live wouldnt play any flac files at all and it claims in serato forums that they dont support flac

That is really strange. You are using Scratch Live and not Serato DJ right? Are you on the lastest version? I don't think it would make much of a difference because I have used both and have never had an issue with FLAC but I constantly have to re-encode WAV because they routinely show as corrupted

You would think by now flac would be widspread supported in the same manner as a simple mp3 or wav. Godamn
