PLUSH
plz upload, and source? couple of doctor p flacs are on here; http://www.edmc.nu/lossless-dubs/350618-doctor-p-%7Bflac%7D.html I got mine from the Circus album though. Have the whole thing in lossless. I never realized how tiny the lossless section actually is, I have sooooo much in flac. Might need to start posting in there Link to comment
BazteR
I think it's simply because most of the people are feelin' this track a lot! So catchy, I remember this playin' on the background on BBC Radio 1 like hundred times a day a year ago, when I started listenin' to dubstep :P thanks for this, hard to find a good version Link to comment
__
Well. some of you don't like the tune, some don't need the better specs, but i'm just happy that i got an even better spec on it [i already thanked YouNeedJesus] and another good thing is that the loseless section got a bit more hype. BTW, am I the only one curious about how did YNJ got that 22khz for it? I use the converter that Dev recommended and only goes to 20. [still better from what I used before, can't believe how many wavs i deleted keeping poor mp3s] Link to comment

Thirteen
Do we need like 3TB hard drives to start FLAC collections? FLAC files are roughly 50MB a song, equal to almost 9 320 mp3s. Link to comment
__
if you are just downloading songs here to write to CDs for DJing then it makes sense to download lossless for CDs and maybe keeping the 320 as archive/backup/ipod Back to my post: My mp3 peaks at 20 khz, I never said it's the best mp3 out there [or in here] just that it's better than the (Original Mix) which probably everyone goes out to download here. There is in this thread a better specked mp3 which peaks at 22, and even a link to a flac [in case someone missed it]. For this mp3 I used Format Factory [as suggested somewhere on the site] but I found that Lame XP does a better job - because of it's custom settings. From what I've learned setting [in the Compression tab] the quality to CBR 320 only gets you to 20 khz. But setting it to VBR maximum in the Compression tab and to 'Better quality', with 'Enable Bitrate Management' turned on and with Minimum (kbps) and Maximum (kbps) set both to 320 you will get a spec that goes all the way to 22 kbps. In my winamp it only shows less than 320 for the first milliseconds then jumps to 320 and stays there throughout the song but I can't guarantee it for CDJs since Pioneer says that 320 CBR is the best option. The spec also says 271 kbps and the filesize is smaller 9.01 vs 10.6. I'm still looking for a method for doing this the right way, I'm just searching for this since yesterday, left some questions here and there, hopefully will get some answers and get back to you. I know some of you will say that the song isn't worth it, or that we're not even able to hear those 2 khz, but if there's a way to get the most we can from an mp3, why shouldn't we? I know most of the mp3's here come from beatport straight at 20 khz but I only uploaded two songs here and they were both conversions from lossless, so for me it would have been a good chance to get the most from them. Remember, here you can only post CBR so don't use this for posting even if it gets to 22 khz. Hopefully soon will get the magic formula for 320/22/CBR and will get back here with a post. [or somebody else will be kind enough to share with us his wisdom] Link to comment
Thirteen
I'm no production expert but I hear that 20khz mp3 is actually better than 22khz because over 20khz cannot be heard by the human ear and capping it off at 20khz narrows the range of frequencies just a bit and gives a slightly more fuller sound. This is why 99% of beatport releases cap off at 20khz and beatport is one of the best places to get your digital mp3s. Link to comment
Ganjastep
what software are you using :D? or is it a secret The first thing is to ditch that lame converting software :p (Personally I NEVER use them. They ALWAYS Fuck the quality up.) 2nd. Pick up Logic. It's how I get 22 using CBR320 ;) Secret Revealed :O Link to comment
