japan four
its a tough one for me too.... jay bay - good track selection, and i can tell you mix with cd players and/or turntables because i caught some flutters in there which isnt necessarily a bad thing because it adds the human element, your volumes and track quality is kind of hit-or-miss though. philipos - the sound quality and clarity is much better than jay bays, and you also have a good track selection, i do believe though i saw in one of your posts that you use auto-sync??? you lose massive points for that, luckily sound clarity picks up the slack. if i had to pick one, i would lean slightly towards jay bay, strictly because i assume he mixes them manually, like a dj should. now if im wrong, and philpos DID actually mix his set manually, then i give it to him. on a side note, auto-sync is a good feature to have, but it shouldnt be used unless your doing something INSANE (effects wise) to where you HAVE TO use it. most people dont get that, they think that just cuz its there than you should use it ALL THE TIME..... BS. i have an effects panel on my pioneer mixer, does that mean i have to use it in every mix? NO. its gets lame after a while because people assume you have to use it all the time in order to make a decent mix. also, auto-sync is insulting to veteran dj's who took years to learn their craft, just for some new kid to come up and act like he knows his shit (no offense philipos, i dont know you personally, im just speaking in generalities).
