tkky Posted January 31, 2015 Share Posted January 31, 2015 So im pretty sure everyone is familiar with the ATH M series and i am going to cop myself a pair next week but i'm stuck between the 50X and the 50s.. Ive heard that the 50x is more for listeners who want that phat bass rinsing out their music rather than someone who is mixing or producing on them. And in fact actually using them from a engineer's point of view is tedious and will always give a false representation for the low end. What do you guys think about them both? And i know that monitors are always a better choice but right now i cant set up my HS7's and i wont be able to for a while, so for now i need some headphones.. Also if you think that either of the headphones are terrible dont be afraid to shoot some other names (except Beats...) Link to comment
