Are my tracks good enough to send into labels?

Hello legends!

I hope you are all doing well!

I've been working hard on some new tracks lately and I'm feeling pretty excited about them. But before I take the big leap and send them off to record labels, I wanted to get some feedback from you guys first.

I am trying to capture the old skrillex/brostep vibe as it's what started my journey to start creating music!

Here are the tracks I've been working on:

1. GRiMLOK - Written In the Stars
2. GRiMLOK - WASTED TIME
3. GRiMLOK - FADED Feat. Cristina Lizzul

I've poured my heart and soul into these tracks, and I really think they have potential. But as we all know, sometimes it's hard to be objective about your own work, which is why I'm turning to you for some honest opinions.

If you could spare a few moments to give these tracks a listen and let me know what you think, I would be so grateful. Whether it's about the sound quality, the melodies, or just the overall vibe, I'm eager to hear your thoughts.

And if any of you have experience in the music industry or have dealt with record labels before, I would love to hear your advice on what makes a track stand out and grab the attention of label executives.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out. Your feedback means everything to me, and I couldn't do this without the support of this awesome community.

Listened through and I love the classic dub sound with more modern techniques/mastering, there's always going to be people looking for new takes on the classic sounds. Your mixing/mastering is up to par as far as my ears can tell and the songs hit so I don't know why you haven't gotten your songs out more.

Most of the people I know who've gotten their track on a label has been from their connections/reputation, they either knew someone directly and showed their track or were asked if they'd like to put one out. I'd look for whatever label often puts out classic dub style tracks and who's accepting tracks, building a following is the hardest part but once you have momentum you can do a lot more. Your sound is better than the majority of small artists so you should have no issue there.

I'm really glad you liked the tracks! It's so cool to hear that you're into the classic dub vibe mixed with some modern techniques. That's exactly the sound I was going for, so it's awesome to know it's hitting the mark.

Thanks for the kind words about the mixing and mastering too. I've been working hard on getting that right, so it's super encouraging to hear it's paying off.

You're totally right about connections and reputation being key in the music biz. It's something I've been thinking about a lot. Your advice on targeting labels that specialize in classic dubstep is a good idea. Building a following is tough, but I'm not giving up anytime soon.

Seriously, your feedback means a lot to me. It's great to connect with someone who gets what I'm going for musically. Thanks for taking the time to listen and share your thoughts!

2012 i wouldve said go for it, send them out, but nowadays, even if they are quite good brostep tunes, its all been done a million times and the genre is dead

have you ever tried transforming what you learned in the process of making the tunes you posted onto some more modern sounds and structures? there must be something that interests you where you can incorporate what you learned so far

Yes absolutely I have so much music just sitting there, but I really struggle to release anything as I believe it's not good enough so it just sits there.

This is something I made today the mix is still abit rough though

not gonna say i never heard a tune like this, but this is also quite good and could work better than the tunes you initially posted

though i gotta say, exposure is the key. if you never start releasing, then you wont build a fanbase. the first released tunes will always suck in retrospect, though its important you like them yourself
