Advice on a MIDI Controller

Hey, I'm looking to buy a MIDI controller for bedroom use mostly (maybe parties etc. in the future but that's not a concern for the time being) and at the moment am not sure on which to buy. My price range is currently up to about £200 but if I'm given reason to spend a bit more, I may.

So far I've been looking at 3 in particular:

Numark OMNI Control - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Numark-Omni-Control-Surface-Audio/dp/B001L8T740/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1327330254&sr=1-1

Numark Mixtrack Pro - http://www.amazon.co.uk/NUMARK-MIXTRACK-PRO-DJ-CONTROLLER/dp/B00466HLWO/ref=dp_cp_ob_MI_title_0

Hercules DJ Control RMX - http://www.amazon.co.uk/HERCULES-4780474-Hercules-Console-RMX/dp/B0012GS2T2/ref=sr_1_3?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1327329238&sr=1-3

Does anyone have any advise/suggestions on which mixer would be the better purchase? I understand at least part of it is down to preference but I'm not in a position where I can get a feel for any before I by it (though I have used/liked the Omni).

+1 for the omni. I use it at field partys and for bedroom fun and its great for both. I use it with traktor but iv never used it with other software. It comes with built in soundcard wich helps alot and auto sync wich helps u get a feel for mixing if ur just starting out =] hope that helped, any other questions about the omni let me know!

Firstly decide what you actually need out of a controller.

If you buy a cheap controller you may find it doesnt support ALL traktor features.

I had a beringher BCD3000 to start and found it limited and it can be pretty difficult to map it to traktor.

checkout djtechtools for reviews on most controllers and the software they are compatible with.

I use a mixtrack pro for home use and absolutely love it. i would recommend it to anyone who wants to start out. I also have an NS6 and SSL/turntables, but for quick mixes, parties, small venues, the mixtrack pro is the absolute best way to go.
