I have a vision, but I will need CL's help with it...please

So I was mixing music the other day, when one of my close friends asked me "Yo, why not just live stream your mix sessions over twitch?!?" 

It really didn't register at the time (sorry mark), but it was something that has been bouncing around in my head since. 

I mean, I already broadcast over livesets.com (which is just damn near next to unsupported by anyone) and felt that based on that lack of response this wouldn't be something people would support. 

The other day, I began to make a template in OBS that....its pretty fucking cool (if I may say so myself), and kind of sparked a hope that if I were to set up twitch.tv account dedicated to livestream mixes: Would you guys follow/watch? All this can be done, but without any kind of awareness or promotion to the proper network, it'll be like 99% of the rest of my game stream: HOURS of streaming to ZERO viewers

I would of course set up my streams so that you could see my traktor screen, as well as an overhead of my controller (Native Instruments S8) so you could see there's no bullshit to be had.

I just wanted to see if this is something that in theory would potentially be supported by this community. 


...ideally, if this were to take off, I would reach out to some of the homies that I grew up with (that are now making moves) and bring them on to do special guest spots, but we would have to get this account to at the least affiliate first! 

I know this community has lost A LOT of people in the almost 10 years I've been here, so I'm not so sure how active this forum is. 

FOR NOW, this is just a way of seeing if this would be something of potential interests.

I would appreciate the feedback! 

 

tbh... I would be more tempted to watch if it was music combined with talking about facts/opinion/comparisons about the tracks. Just my 2 cents. Like the idea tho. Kinda reminds me of CLLV-radio idea.

Twitch isn't really the right platform imo. I don't know it might work out. Never know unless you try

It would be cool to have a cllv player on the website that cycles trough al recent Mixstep uploads. With the possibility to select genres you want to follow and a link to the thread of the track that is playing. @Kawaii @Ganjastep

if there would be a way to embed a livesets.com player....that could very well be a possibility. They have SUPER easy setups, and it credits all tracks played out....

I'm down if any admins want to hmu and work on this.
