Zero
I wasn't listening on anything with proper subs. Just my laptop speakers (which is why the mids & highs sounded extra crisp because I'm lacking a little in the low end) when I get home from this gig in Florida I will give it a proper listen. Zero
And I also produce on headphones. Primarily. Sometimes off my Logitech comp speakers w a sub. No monitors :/ Link to comment
Anunnaki
Just curious what are you listening on? (I think everyone giving advice in this thread should say what they are listening on btw, makes the advice more helpful in my opinion) Well... DENON DN-HP1000 and some Panasonic 5.1 surround system xD no monitors yet, but im thinking of buying after i get back from Germany :) Feedback @Malevolence... Thanks for feedback and suggestions (perfect) @csmonst3r... Thanks man...Damn you have some heavy ones, i like both of your tunes... i was listening on headphones, in second one you could maybe do a bit work on drums... make a bit harder, add some lower end to it, dunno it's just what i would do, it's just my opinion... love the feel in intro in second one also, overall great tunes (beer) @andius... That wobble, some dark vibes in this one... nice one :D Something from my kitchen :D .. i would really like to know what you all think about this newer stuff, there is a lot experiments going on (beer) https://soundcloud.com/dj_steewy/steewy-uprising-of-the-lost https://soundcloud.com/dj_steewy/steewy-lamia-demo https://soundcloud.com/dj_steewy/zero-i-need-you-steewy-remix-1 Edited March 30, 2013 by Anunnaki Link to comment

Anunnaki
@dorianm... Duuude that beggining scared the hell out of me so unexpected hahaah :D i like drums and sound of it... maybe do a bit warriations with that synth like wobbling a bit and combining with sub bass :) ill wait final version of this... and thanks for your feedback (beer) Since im gonna make a pause from producing for few months, i'm kind of inspired to make so many these "demos" not sure why tho... cheers everyone Since it's 2 am it's all headphones work :) https://soundcloud.com/dj_steewy/steewy-creatures-of-the-night Edited April 1, 2013 by Anunnaki Link to comment
Malevolence
That's actually sounding really spicy so far, I really enjoy those background synths with that main melody line in the drop, makes it sound really cool. Right now I'm working on a remix contest for that zomboy song and I think any feedback could help. I've only done the intro and started the drop, I think it may be sounding pretty solid but anything will help :D https://soundcloud.com/malevolence17/remix-test/s-tBhD0 Link to comment
Anunnaki
@Malevolence... I like the intro... and drop is not bad at all :D one thing only, i'm not sure but that "crash" or hat sound that goes in intro you should put it together with kick... i probably sound like a big noob, i was doing this all the time when i started with producing till my friend, who is kind of big drummer, told me to remove that from my sounds, fl, life or if i use something like that it always goes with a kick, overall it sounds good... cheers and thanks for feedback (beer) Link to comment

Get those highs crispier and remove some sound from the mid and it'll liven your mix a lot. Edit: reread this, and I realized it might come off as a bit harsh or something, no offense intended or anything, just trying to give you honest feedback :) Edited April 2, 2013 by andius Link to comment
