I like both of the idea's they are very creative. Mixdown is good except for the fact that there is barely any bass in there. You might want to equal it out on the low-end a bit or compress it a bit. use some sidechaining on it and voila you wont interfere with your kicks or something. I do hear the mid-parts of the bass but no sub. Other then that really dude clean mixdown it soudns nice and crispy.
