 @ monty4bass , you gotta learn how to take criticism. If you are only going to cater to the 100's that downloaded/liked your tunes without improvement, your carreer will be over pretty soon.

First of all, when is someone qualified to comment negatively on your tracks? 10+ years of production? I, and most others here (and definitely someone like @ PlatyBass ) listened to enough music in our lifetime to be able to tell if something is off in a track.

As a music producer you should be kissing both hands if someone is willing to educate you. Because all those 100's of people that downloaded your tune, more than likely don't give a damn about anything more than the tune and frankly like 90% of people listening to it  really can't dissect a track and tell if there is something that can be improved on or even if it's well or badly produced.

 

@ Mich  i love criticism but criticism in public can also be viewed as a form of bullying if they was so interested in helping me with their experience they would of sent me a personal message and offered to master it for me  and  being trained to make music and listening to music for a ten year period does not make some an expert 

there is no expert with music as its such a fluid entity that the vibrations it crates stimulate a person's feelings  different people in different ways  if we believed that all boxes would have to be ticked there would be no sub genes there would be no jazz  no jungle  and in turn no dnb which this post should be returned to

once again someone's ego has overtook there passion for music and made them think they are  better than others cause they can as you say dissect a track

when in reality music should be enjoyed not dissected and if there's a gene or a track or form of music that you don't like but  others do it dont make you better educated or a better human than them it just means that your feelings  are not being stimulated by that piece of music

if you don't like what i'm doing then just don't listen as there are plenty others tracks and uploads for you to enjoy 

i've had a lot of positivity and hundreds of downloads  on the stuff i have posted so im going to continue

Qualified? I've lived and this breathed this music for 17 years, over half my life. I was a promoter for 10 of those years and an active DJ for 13 year of those years (Up until today). I've been to every major club in the UK (Where this music was born) and played all over this country (And Europe). Sure, I was never an active producer and just dabbled but I can sure as shit tell a badly produced tune from someone who just downloaded a cracked copy of fruity loops.

I'm plenty qualified and I can guarantee more qualified than you considering the level of absolute trash you have spamming the subs with. I've seen "producers" like you come and go time and time again.

End of the day, there is a place for amateur productions on here, and the only reason your posting them where you are is because no checks that sub... And there is a reason for it.
