Ganjastep
Dude beauty of this magnitude is why I feel that people are stupider than ever. Yeah big deal, we have tiny electronics, what good is it if you do not know how to appreciate anything! /rant MMMMMM Steak probably made by someone who is in it for the food and not the money... kinda envious of your experience Link to comment
bSQUARED08
^I think you're exactly right... I went to tremendous extent to make the trip happen because I knew how boundary-dissolving and important it would be to my growth as an artist and a person in general. I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have had the opportunity to see all of these amazing sights in Italy, although I have worked extremely hard in getting to this point. Tbh, I haven't even gotten to the half-way point in uploading photos from my trip lol... Here are some more from Siena: Link to comment
Ganjastep
this one is fucking bananas!!!! I am not a religious person but I would be awestruck if I was. I am still awestruck, just not in the same way. Truley magnificent location! Link to comment
bSQUARED08
It was really amazing... I'm most certainly not religious either, but the technical genius it must take to construct something of that magnitude is of a level I'll likely never know. Churches like this one were incredibly inspiring. Link to comment

bSQUARED08
How are you creating these backgrounds? And what medium are you using? The backgrounds are just simple watercolor washes. First I'm making rough drawings with light pencil, then I ink the contour (outline) and gradually fill the figure... Once I've clearly defined the outline, I wet everything outside of it (background, not the figure), then drop watercolor pigment into the wetted area and let it dry. The drying takes forever, but because the paper I'm using is very high quality, it dries with a pretty awesome effect. Link to comment
