it hits at about 2:11, im decently skilled at massive and rayblaster however i just purchassed komplete 9 ultimate and from first impressions it sounds like maybe fm8 posesses the potential but im as noobish as they come at it atm -

Hye guys! I could use an good synth tutorial to get little started with reason. Reason is kinda new for me so, thats the reason why I ask this to you guys! So i've searched alot but only found those crappy tutorials.. Maybe someone with an good tutorial or an malstorm file were I can 'mess' with? Every tip,tricks or hints are more then welcom! Akai MPK49 (controller) or Akai AX-80 (synth) as first hardware purchase?

I have access to both an Akai MPK49 and AX-80 via Craigslist, each are $300. An Akai MPK49 seems like it may be more practical, since this will be my first hardware purchase and entrance into the realm of music production, but the thought of having an old-school synthesizer like the AX-80 for $300 is really, really appealing since it's probably not every day that you find them. What would you recommend to a novice? I almost fee like I should buy a synth, just because of the principle of the matter and starting with old-school analog equipment and really feeling the roots. I see the AX-80 has midi and basic controls, so I could in-theory use it as a basic controller anyways, right? Any input for a nub would be fantastic :) -

Hi, I've been producing for over a year now, did a copple of different things. But most of the time I'm busy making jump up dnb using Reason. I want to improve and expand my synths to find new shit. Does someone has tips for making synth like Annix, Tyke, Klay, etc...
