marq
Me and my best friend (datsikmou5electrohouse) have been destroying this section with amazing music lately, and only been getting 50 views and 5 thanks if we're lucky. Then mediocre tunes like this get uploaded and get 600 views and a fuckton of thanks in the first day? I don't understand it honestly. get used to it my friend. but have in mind that there always will be people with a good taste that will appreciate your posts. i really like the musics datsikmau5 posts, and yours too. rytraM
It's cause that the rise in the regular members when registration was open and the likelihood of one of them posting a transcode was more likely than someone rocking up on CLLV randomly and posting a full 320kbps of True Gangsters by Skrillex. We'd get banned for leaking but people would be in the thread calling bullshit left, right and center on the legitimacy. Even if we upload a legitimate 320kbps of a tune people want, people will look the other way, mainly out of trust and out of the fact that they can't be fucked to check the spek - even if you provide it in the thread.Whereas if you have an upload by a F.I.R.E or a VIP member - there's some faith and trust in there because hey - they got to that position for a reason. Don't complain about the situation - if they like the tune, they'll find it, and even if you don't get thanked, just be aware you're helping the community, one song at a time. get used to it my friend.but have in mind that there always will be people with a good taste that will appreciate your posts. i really like the musics datsikmau5 posts, and yours too. Yeah, I'm not trying to get as many thanks as possible or anything, if I were trying to do that I'd just post everything I could find in dubstep, drum & bass and electro house. Just vented for a second at the people that don't appreciate the true baller producers :p Link to comment

Just vented for a second at the people that don't appreciate the true baller producers :p There are people here that just want the big releases, and there are others that actually enjoy finding all new and lesser known producers on here. Initially, I was mostly rooted in Electro House, Dubstep and Midtempo sections. It was from surfing this forum over the past few months I got more into Drum & Bass, Deep Dubstep, Trap, etc. A lot of these producers and styles were unknown to me when I first joined and from surfing through this forum, discovering new music and styles make it a pretty religious experience for me. I can say the same about when I heard Rush's 2112, Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream, Tool's Aenima, etc. To make it simple, you guys posting the "baller" producers allow me to always find something new, and I appreciate it! Essentially this. Even if you don't get views or thanks, someone always appreciates the effort. Link to comment
Omar Little
Mid-Tempo gets some of the least attention in the Dubstep Music section, despite it being my own favourite section :D Link to comment

Tewl
Upload songs to help out other people not to get as many thanks as possible... If 'good songs' don't get a lot of attention, it's the people's problem because they are the ones who don't have the tunes in the end ;) Edited May 2, 2013 by Tewl Link to comment

Just my 2cents. I want to go back to 2012 Link to comment
