Jim Hopper
@Legohead I’m familiar with electro breaks... I’m also familiar with the core concept that breaks are called breaks because it’s a broken beat, i.e; not straight 4 on the floor lol Link to comment

This beat for example also has an intro and breakdown of pure broken beat percussion. So not quite just 4 to the floor.. and most definitly NOT fidget. Lol Link to comment
Jim Hopper
@Legohead man this is only the second time in 9 years on this site that I’ve wished there was a block button lol. If you think that’s a broken beat you need to get your head checked. Also, I’m not the one who decided it was fidget. I don’t even know what fidget is. I honestly don’t know the difference between any of the 4 on the floor styles, because I don’t enjoy 4 on the floor and therefore don’t listen to/play it. All I did was report that it didn’t belong in breaks (because it’s not breaks) and it seems that whichever mod opened my report agreed that it is in fact not breaks (spoiler alert: probably because it’s not breaks) Get over it. I actually agreed with you that there is an element of 4to floor. But just raising the point there is far more percussion than kick snare kick snare. Imo electro breaks that i have played for a good 15 years or longer. have all had that element of 42floor. But not here to fall out. I was actually just confused about it moved to fidget. As well as others as had comments about them being there saying they should be in breaks. But lets be honest long gone are the days of simple genres, music is more cross bread than weed is these days so there will always ve ambiguity on this subject. For me that is 100% electro breaks intro and break down.. and 42floor drops but with extra snares and breaths in the kick. But ppl will interpret it differently. So lets not fall out about it. Jim Hopper
@Gattsu Sorry. I just put a lot of time into going through the Breaks section a few months back reporting things that weren't Breaks to try to help clean the section up, and didn't appreciate the way dude came at me about it. But that is no excuse for not being civil, and for that I apologize. 4 Link to comment
