EkLiiPz
I mean come on, this shit is the loudest, yet cleanest subbass I've ever heard ! https://soundcloud.com/diversa/antiquum-duo Even with a limiter set at 0dB on the sub, I can't get anywhere near to his loudness. Some help would be highly appreciated ! Link to comment

Guest kelvin
i usually have a bus1 for synths beside the bass. then i hook that bus1 up to a bus2. i hook the bass up to bus2. then i put a limiter on bus2. i also put a peak controller on the bass that puts a tiny bit of a highpass filter on bus1. that lets me get a louder and cleaner bass. i can't actually believe that though. are my basses really that loud and clean? haha thanks for the info i didn't know that i might've been doing so well! Phiso
i think part of it might be the mixdown. it's well done, which allows him to push the perceived volume of the track way up. but yes, making room for your sub in the frequency spectrum as he described would also be beneficial in the sense that it would make things clearer and louder Link to comment
