Jim Hopper
Quote soundcloud link + hyppedit will be accepted... is a simple way to share our own music & get followers....is free music, just support the artists @heliumdnb No, they are not accepted, thus why they are not on the accepted list. The rules here are rules for a reason, and as a veteran of this community I was just trying to educate you. But it is clear from your response that it wasn't a lack of knowledge of the rules, you simply think you're above them and have no respect for the community here. This guy does this with every track he posts. I've told him numerous times that these, or his own tracks (Pretty sure this is just his alias), should be posted in the "My Productions" section. Yet he continually posts his tracks in the Drum & Bass section to get more views/listens. Now he is posting hypeddit links so you have to like/repost/follow Edited August 20, 2020 by DoubleDee 1 Link to comment
Jim Hopper
@DoubleDee Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't caught those previous ones but I will track them down and report them as well. While posting your own music under the correct genres isn't against the rules to my knowledge, using an unapproved hosting service most certainly is. EDIT: I guess I had previously caught one back in April and informed him of this then. I've reported for repeat violation of rule #4 I'm sure one of the mods will take appropriate action. Are you telling me that sharing my music for FREE in exchange for you following or liking me is a bad thing? keep crying and calling moderators... I've seen other people helping out on the forum by uploading the links themselves, and not crying so much Link to comment
heliumdnb
you complain but you are pirating music instead of buying it, and if in this forum there are music producers who upload their own tracks, what less than support them ... they give you their work and you complain ... I think you shouldn't be in this forum downloading free music with that attitude ...... I'm not going to give away more music in this shit Link to comment
Jim Hopper
@heliumdnb yeah and all those other producers do just fine following the rules like everyone else and don’t complain about it. You’re welcome to add a secondary link for your soundcloud or hypeddit or whatever you want in your posts for people to support at, there’s no rule against that. But it is clearly stated and has been repeated to you that all posts in the music sections must have a link from one of the approved file hosting options. The only person crying here is you, and you’re literally crying about not being special enough to be the one person above the rules. Literally 99.9% of the members here manage to respect and follow the rules with no issues. Sometimes of course people don’t know the rules and that’s why attempts are made to educate. But in your case you’re just showing blatant disregard for the rules and a blatant lack of respect for this community and those who spend their own time running it. 1 Link to comment
