hi guys and gals.we have set up an brand new online radio station,call influx radio.we launch on the 11th december.we have some prime time slots still available on a saturday night,plus other slots.    https://www.facebook.com/influxradio/

 

Influx Radio will be committed to growing our radio station and supporting our DJ's as much as possible. We will also promote  our DJ's social media , dj mixes & productions through our own social media , website and various promotional companies we will be using to grow our brand.

In return we ask our live DJ's to follow a few simple rules : 

* We need 100% commitment to your weekly 1 or 2 hour show

* All live DJ's are to use a mic (no point being live if you can't tell they are live)

* NO SWEARING on the mic (sounds unprofessional) but swearing in songs is fine

* When on the mic or when commenting on the stations social media there will be no abuse , no slagging off anyone or any other stations.

* ALL Radio DJ's should invite friends to the Facebook page to help boost the stations profile.

* ALL DJ's must promote their shows through their social media and help support other shows when they can.

* you must let admins know if you cant do your show.(24 hours if possible)

* if you have a guest mix on your show,please let us know in advance.(so we can re-do flyer etc) for forthcoming show.
*all dj's try to do a thread on facebook WHEN YOU ARE LIVE....the more comments you get,will show up on your social media and help promote INFLUX RADIO.

Random Sunday Getdown

if you tune we may be gone if its 2 late we have been going all day but i will make a post of normal times we are gonna start doing live shows so stay tuned and keep up on my posts

Hey dudes! Im currently putting together a bass music show in my town (Portland, OR) with the college radio station I work for and a couple other groups that  im a part of. The show's lineup is going to have a focus on halftime/halfstep/hybrid type electronic music with one hip-hop act and an overall urban/hip-hop/street aesthetic to the visuals (venue has a huge LED screen on mainstage) and theme/decorations/etc.

Does anybody wanna help me try to come up with a solid name for this event? If the show goes well we might try to continue this series as nobody is really doing a halftime/bass music + hip/hop show out here, so the name would need to be something that we could potentially make a series out of.

Right now the only good idea I have really is calling it   Half-Style'd ft (headlining artist name)

Any good ideas are appreciated! And If any of my CLLV fam is in Portland or the nearby area I can def get you in free or discounted to this show when it happens (planning on Sept. 15 or 16, date tbd)
