I'm just taking this for what it is, a fun little side remix Flume probably put together in 10 minutes, and not some great magnum opus. Throw it in a DJ mix as a throwback track. The clipping/distortion bugs me but I doubt there was any actual effort put into the mixdown. Da ba dee da ba da

It's growing on me. Like you said, it's not perfect but you can tell it was done quickly and I love remixes that take a classic and keep the feel almost intact while injecting it with some modern fun too.

Gonna have to listen to this a few more times before I make a judgement but... it's a bold move remixing Blue
