dbound
Found this idea on another forum. Fill out these questions and see if anyone contacts you to do a collaboration. Hey you might find someone fun to make beats with. I'll start: What DAW do you use? Ableton Live 9, I just got Logic tho so im looking forward to learning that What genre or genres do you prefer to produce? Primarily techno and tech house. I do make dubstep occasionally. I've been all over the place musically but I do feel like i've found a home in techno and house. I feel very comfortable when im producing a techno or house tune as opposed to anything else. I like to use a lot of low end in my productions as well as a lot of percussion. And I do like to get experimental as well some times :) How long have you been producing for? 3 years? maybe 4 What VSTs or synths do you favour? Well atm im only using massive as my main synth. I'd like to move on to something else that hasnt been rinsed to shit tho. I have serum and I have been trying to get some time to sit down with it. I really want to get my hands on omnisphere 2! I use alot of ableton's native VSTs like the 8 band EQ, Glue Compressor (sometimes, other times I use rough rider by Audio Damage), operator and other effect plug ins. Ive become quite fond of ableton's plug ins. What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound? Maceo Plex (the deep techno stuff he makes, not his early funky stuff), Jay Lumen, Drumcode (maybe...). It's kind of hard to say who reflects my sound right now because the last year has been kind of all over the place. Influences? Maceo Plex, John Tejada, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jay Lumen, Adrian Hour, Flash Recordings, Drumcode, Biome, Badklaat, Adam Beyer, Sleeper, LAS, Thelem, Artikal. Would this be a remote collaboration, or would you prefer someone to work with IRL? Well If you live in Chicago or close by I'd love to meet up but most likely we would have to collab remotely.
