Old skool break use to be around 115-120. Great tempo for experimentation in drums

if u are counting all the percussive elements then you probably are

but if you follow the beat flow alone, def midtempo

It’s always upon your software you use.. I’ve seen so far these ranges: 170-180; 115-118; 84-90... This track has a very unique built up (could call unusual) so don’t be surprised if your processor is confused!  If it shows 113 it means it’ll be under 170... Imo.

PS: If you still don’t know how it works within ranges, listen: 

There is a track having 174 bpm. Divided by 2= 87. Divided by 3 = 58. 58+58=116.

So whenever you see your display shows 116 in case a dnb you can be sure it’s 174 as this value exactly 2/3 of 174.
