Artwork By bSQUARED...

I've still got quite a bit of work left to do on this, but here's a work-in-progress shot of my first master study oil painting (we were to find a master painter and choose one of their works to recreate as accurately as possible). I chose Odilon Redon's "Red Boat With Blue Sails". Like I said, it's far from finished, but I thought some might be interested in seeing the progress.

Also, here's the first print that I've been somewhat happy with... Printmaking hasn't been my favorite course mainly because the process is grueling and the results vary widely (too many factors; I'm a control freak(sick)) Anyhow, feedback is greatly appreciated :)

I think I might be finished with this... until my prof tells me otherwise today, hahaha.

Bam. Work-in-progress of my final painting for this semester... I'm beginning to really love painting. I think I learned so much, considering that I'd never painted before August of this year. I'll be back with another (hopefully finalized) soon...

Finished my first woodcut today... Not entirely pleased with how it turned out, but it's my first time, so I couldn't expect much. Feedback is always appreciated :)

Some of those would look great on walls, you do grafs?

Hey, thanks :) I'd be lying if I said that I haven't painted walls before, but I don't think I'm particularly good at it... It's something I really want to learn to do though.

Here's the result of a late night in the painting studio... Not sure if finished, but it's reaalllyyy close.

I submitted these 3 pieces into my schools 78th annual student show today... I guess the standards are set pretty high, but if any of them get accepted, they'll be in my school's art gallery for a month's time and I'll potentially win a cash award if they're really good. Wish me luck :)
