This is my octopus. It wont be this exactly but I drew it and liked it so I kept it for the future artist to use a reference.

Also if you'll notice it's not a true octopus. It only has 5 limbs. I have 5 family members and quite honestly didn't want to find where to fit the other 3 lol. I call it my Pentapus ;) lol

Call me cliché or w/e but I want this on my left forearm as a symbol of my faith.

The cursive says "Nailed. Dead. Risen." which is the gospel summed up in 3 words. I'm still debating whether or not to have the words written in or if I should just do the cross.

5 years later, you're going to be like, "why did i get this, lol?". I don't see how people are still religious in this day and age.

I like that one too, guy with the lantern its sick especially with the lines of color. Is that pastel?

I dont see how people arent religious, we live in a pretty shitty world that is completely founded on greed i just can help but hope that there is something much better out there. An interesting semi related note my friend showed me this experiment in which they are trying to scientifically prove the existence of a soul; they put a person on the brink of death in a completely sealed chamber that is placed on a hyper sensitive scale, so that when they die absolutely nothing can escape, not even your breath or the gasses within your body, but when people die, the scale loses a very very small amount of weight, not sure exactly how much, something like 0.000001 or some incredibly small increment, but regardless, when people die something leaves their body that cannot be contained by the constraints of this world. Interesting stuff. And also all those people i always bitch about (kesha rhianna beyonce JZ and the like) who are aboutthat devil shit, the whole point is to act against god, so they obviously think hes real as well. But i dont want to convince anyone the point of this world is to figure things out for yourself before the next. Dont listen to what i say if it sounds like bullshit to you, i can totally respect that. Also well love you no matter what your beliefs are skyline

The contrary would be: if there were a god, why is this world so chaotic, uncivilized, and unfair? The thing about the weight of the soul is the main subject of this movie, too (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0315733/). People always say "I'll pray for them" after the bad deed has happened, but why would a, supposedly, generous, understanding, and righteous omnipotent being allow for bad deeds to happen in the first place? Why would an omnipotent being want to make competing religions in his world in which people would fight wars over for centuries?

^right there, thats the stuff people who have never actually read the bible say. This world is supposed to be shitty and brutal and awful, its a test. Nowhere in the bible does it say "and god was a magical fairy who wanted peace and love and tranquility" fuck no, god is a badass. He commands entire cities to be destroyed, cleansed of all life. The reason the world is bad is because of corrupt people not because of god, we have free will. For the world to be perfect god would have to control everyone like a puppet master and then there would be no point in life at all. We are free to do good or evil, or both as all of us do. Thats the thing people have their own ideas of what they think god should be and when they realize those standars are not in tune with reality they choose not to believe, which they are entitled to do. Good and evil exist, its a fact. If you want proof, go climb a mountain in spring tim and look at how amazing and complex the world is, the innumerable trees and blades of grass. Its a work of art, along with the entire universe. Its someones masterpiece

Also i dont believe every aspect of any religion, they all have pieces of the truth in them and pieces that have been greately altered and distorted throughout history, people fight because they are fearful creatures and are scared of the differences between them, thats why i strive to talk and learn from people who are vastly different from myself, gotta break the cycle

I wouldnt mind a religious thread. I was very much enjoyimg this comversation as off topic as it might be. I respect everyones beliefs (or lack thereof) and like i said i love talking to people who believe in different things, opposites usually attract you know. If someone feels like making one (i know people get tired of hearing me talk) would be cool, however id like to hear from some some non christians as well, i have a very good friend who is muslim, we get along fine and have great convos, nice to have different perspectives.

That being said, does anyone else have any more art? Any graffiti artists out there? I used to tag trains and stuf but i stopped because i was never really good at it (artistic wise i mean)

Oh man, this always flatters me lol. I've had people ask this question often and since I'm relatively new at painting, I never know exactly what to say... Mostly because I think I'm still a bit attached to them. (It's an oil painting, DubMonster)
