EkLiiPz
Hi guys ! So basically, I'm working on a trap/beat track, and this clicking is driving me crazy. Zippyshare.com I made it on Massive only. I know how to usually avoid that : messing around with the decay and attack to find the sweet spot, but nothing worked. I tried EQing it out, it was pretty muddy. I read something about substractive methods, which would mean I'd have to tweak Massive isolate the click, use RX Denoiser to learn the click, and then cut it out ? If you have any ideas, it would be truly appreciated. Edited September 3, 2013 by EkLiiPz Link to comment
Kastro
Envelope 4 is the main ADSR for massive have a longer attack and release Link to comment
EkLiiPz
I know that ;) Spent a total of 8h trying to fix it by messing around with it. It either gives me a clicking sound, or a sloppy 808. It might be a zero-crossing problem. Link to comment

andius
What voice settings are you using? Is the 808 clicking everytime? or just when there are two notes that play into eachother? If it doesnt click every time, why not bounce the synth to audio? IF that doesnt work, why not use a different method to get your "808". Like the millions of samples out there. Or even super simple synths can reproduce the 808 sound quite well. Link to comment
Forzik
I think, you can try just cut all freqs above 250 Hz. And check compressor settings if you use him Link to comment
Willy Whompa
In hte oscillator tab where it says restart via gate, enable that and make sure the osc where your sub is is set to 0 Link to comment
EkLiiPz
It was already set to 0. I've finally found a way to fix it : resampled it and put it in Kontakt. Even though it sounds fine, it lost some of it's punch, but that's fine. Thanks for the help guys ! :) Link to comment
hubsahubsa
Hmm, ive noticed people often do all kinds of stuff to avoid clicking. I just EQ that shit out Link to comment
EkLiiPz
I've tried EQ'ing it out, but I think it would have been impossible to EQ that sort of clicking out. Let's imagine a sine wave. What was happening was that the second note would start before the first one was "finished", in the way that it was going very quickly from "the sine is still waving" to "no sound at all before the sine starts waving again". The clicking was happening between those milliseconds (zero-crossing). I also needed the full spectrum on this particular sound, which was making me avoid EQing it out. Edit : Also tried RX2 Declicker, sounded muddy. Link to comment
